LionsRKing (LRK) is revolutionizing the college athlete experience. We are empowering college athletes to be the best they can be.
“Don’t Just Exist” is our slogan. We specifically chose a lion because they are the king of the jungle. Making a difference in the world is what special people do.
LionsRKing was created because of our love for sports. As former athletes, we respect the commitment it takes to be a college student athlete. Alexis got married at Fenway Park and Chris played college hockey. Sports truly define who we are as people.
Both of us are high character people who have always enjoyed helping others succeed. LionsRKing brings a unique perspective as we are not their parent, coach or professor. We provide objective, honest advice to help guide them to make the best decisions.
In the last year, we have interviewed two hundred plus athletes across every sport and governing body. The common theme is that a majority of them seem ill prepared for the real world after college.
The wheel below illustrates the 8 primary areas of focus:
LionsRKing brings together all current US college athletes through our first-of-its-kind, fun and entertaining app. The LionsRKing objective is to teach these young men and women the essential skills and attributes needed for post college life.

Your child is special. Only 8% of high school athletes go on to participate in college sports. This program is going to teach your son/daughter how to become a champion off the field.
The world your children are growing up in is very different from the one you grew up in. Remember when we were kids, life was simple and technology was non-existent. Due to the advances in technology, this has changed the way young people communicate and think.
The pyramid below is the method LionsRKing has developed to build the foundation:
LionsRKing research suggests college is primarily focused on becoming book smart. From our life experience, this is only a small part of a person’s intelligence. The graphic below illustrates LRK’s perspective on the importance of the other types of intelligence.
There are some career paths – medicine, law, engineering, science, etc. – where the importance of a college education is paramount to your child’s success. However, the majority of college athletes pursue careers in other fields – business, communications, physical education, etc. – where the book smart piece of their intelligence becomes far less important.
We are confident that if your child gains these skills, they will be successful.
