LionsRKing
DON’T JUST EXIST...
“Children must be taught How to Think, not What to Think” – Margaret Mead
Think like a champion
In our 90 day onboarding program, we will teach your son or daughter to become more self aware, teach them “how” to think not “what” to think and dramatically improve their communication skills. Once they master these 3 things, which is the secret to our programs success, we will then introduce them to all of the essential practical like skills (job skills, financial literacy, etc.) they will not learn in college. When your child graduates he/she will be totally prepared to take on the real world.
The first 90 days are broken into ten day increments where new content will be introduced and build upon previous topics. In the first 30 days we will focus on Self Awareness, the next 30 days are all about Effective Communication and the last 30 days we will discuss Critical Thinking.
The program starts with a Myers Briggs assessment which will give your child a high level overview of their personality. Effective communication is all confidence. Using the principles from Dale Carnegie’s book How To Win Friends And Influence People we will share techniques to help your child become more confident in their personal engagement with other people. Critical Thinking is all about connecting the dots and following the money to determine what makes a source credible.
For a fraction of what it costs for you to send your child to college. The LionsRKing program will fill in the gaps so that your child is fully prepared to take on the real world after college.
Since my son started this program, his ability to think more effectively has really improved. He doesn't believe everything he hears now, he actually does some research.
Mission
While there are career centers on college campuses, LionsRKing and the Think Like A Champion program was way more beneficial than the career center. My son learned how to prepare for an interview, how to interview, how to leverage the alumni network, how to build relationships. This has changes my kids life and I'm grateful for what LionsRKing has done for him.
Vision
Self Awareness
“Your mind is the most powerful thing in the world” – David Goggins
My son Jason participated in this program during his senior year of college. He came away with an actionable plan to navigate his next steps after graduation. College never did anything like this and I'm so happy I found LionsRKing and the Think Like A Champion program. The information contained is unlike anything I have seen anywhere else, yet some of the most important skills and information that every young person needs to know. I can't say enough good things about LionsRKing!!
My son came home from college for the summer raving about the LionsRKing - Locker Room app. The network of college athletes they have cultivated across the US, through their first-of-its-kind fun and entertaining app, is a great way to connect college athletes to one another. My son loves the brand discounts, music playlists and of course the dating features!
Critical Thinking
Effective Communication
Decision Making
The financial world is hard to understand. LionsRKing simplified it for my daughter, they explained what the stock market is, how to diversify a portfolio, how to manage your money. As adults we know the importance of this information yet it is not taught in school. Financial knowledge is critically important and if you don't understand it, you are at a major competitive disadvantage.
